We’re excited to expand our Sans Frontières series of stories with yet another script, Georgian script, that reminds us that the Latin alphabet and script are not the only way of reading and recording the world’s life. We hope you will enjoy this heartwarming introduction to the country of Georgia from one of her expats living abroad.
Georgia, a country that occupies a very small place on the map, is located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia in the Caucasus. It’s a country unfamiliar to many, but getting to know it will add a lot of wonderful feeling to your memory box.
This is a country you will always want to return to and one where you will always meet people who are unselfishly warm and full of love. It is a country that counts more than 2500 years of ancient history and culture.
In Georgia you will definitely encounter picturesque nature, peaks covered with eternal snow, or water in the form of the blue sea and the many lakes.
For those who like to taste the dishes, among Georgia’s best are its traditional dishes khinkali, khachapuri, and many other delicacies to which is added the culture of ancient wine production. This is why Georgia is even mentioned as the homeland of wine.
I would say this is the tormented Georgia that has been struggling to establish itself for years, and I think it has succeeded. Georgians can travel without a visa, and we have been able to export our special wines. We are already on our feet! However, despite its excellent beauty, part of Georgia still remains behind the ravines guarded by the Russian occupiers. It’s worth noting that Russia is indeed the occupier.
Despite all this, my Georgia has always been and is a field of interest for tourists. I wish you could become acquainted with Georgia and breathe its air that will give you a feeling of pleasure and freedom.
საქართველო – შეგრძნებების ქვეყანა!
ქვეყანა რომელიც რუკაზე ძალიან პატარა ადგილს იკავებს ევროპისა და აზიის გასაყარზე კავკასიაში მდებარეობს!
ის ბევრისთვის უცნობია, მაგრამ გაცნობის შემთხვევაში თქვენი მოგონებების სკივრს კიდევ ბევრი შესანიშნავი განცდა შეემატება.
ეს ის ქვეყანაა სადაც ყოველთვის მოგინდებათ დაბრუნება და სადაც ყოველთვის დაგხვდებათ უანგაროდ თბილი და სიყვარულით სავსე ადამიანები .
ეს ის ქვეყანაა, რომელიც 2500 წელზე მეტს ითვლის თავისი უძველესი ისტორიითა და კულტურით.
ის საქართველოა! სადაც აუცილებლად შეხვდებით თვალწარმტაც ბუნებას,
მარადიული თოვლით დაფარულ მწვერვალებს ანდაც ცასავით ლურჯ მოლივლივე ზღვასა და უამრავ ტბებს.
მათვისს კი ვისაც კერძების დაგემოვნება უყვარს ვთვლი რომ საუკეთესოა საქართველო თავისი ტრადიციული ხინკალით, ხაჭაპურით და კიდევ უამრავი გემრიელიბით რომელსაც უძველესი ღვინის წარმოების კულტურა ემატება.
სწორედ ამის გამო ის ღვინის სამშობლოდაც კი მოიხსენიება.
მე ვიტყოდი სწორედ ეს ის ტანჯული საქართველოა ,რომელიც წლების განმავლობაში იბრძვის თავის დამკვიდრებას და ვთვლი რომ მოახერხა კიდეც.
ჩვენ უკვე შეგვიძლია ვიმოგზაუროთ ვიზის გარეშე, ჩვენ უკვე შევძველით გვეწარმოებინა ექსპორტი ჩვენი განსაკუთრებული ღვინით.
ჩვენ უკვე ფეხზე ვართ! თუმცა
შესანიშნავი სილამაზის მიუხედავად საქართველოს ნაწილი ისევ რჩება დარაბებს მიღმა , რომელსაც რუსი ოკუპანტები დარაჯობენ და მინდა ვთქვა რომ რუსეთი ოკუპანტია!!!
ამ ყველაფრის მიუხედავად ჩემი საქართველო ყოველთვის იყო და არის ტურისტების ინტერესის სფერო!
გისურვებთ საქართველოს გაცნობას და იმ ჰაერით სუნთქვას, რომელიც სიამოვნებასა და თავისუფლების შეგრძნებას მოგანიჭებთ!
