About: Phoebe Jeske

Profile

Phoebe Jeske started shooting at 17, when a stranger mailed her a free film camera. She learned photography from her dad, and she still works in film and phone. After graduating in May 2026 from Wheaton College with degrees in computer science and communication, she is moving to Washington, D.C., in September to build software, a career choice her poetic side is still reviewing. She spent a month in Peru with her family during the summer of 2026 and mostly photographed what she happened to be standing in front of. Her photographs ask the same question her faith does: Where is love in the ordinary?
