She is a former Associate Professor at <a href="http://www.belmont.edu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.belmont.edu/&source=gmail&ust=1753837743240000&usg=AOvVaw18ogdUXlZMEiB22JZXVFzw">Belmont University</a> in Nashville, Tennessee. She taught photography and digital imaging in the <a href="http://www.belmont.edu/art/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.belmont.edu/art/&source=gmail&ust=1753837743240000&usg=AOvVaw1Pq-IdkschqRkRKBkNQoOQ">Department of Art</a> for 15 years. She is an artist, sewist, and founder of GreenBagLady.org. Green Bag Lady is an eco-friendly nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers who make fabric bags out of donated materials. The bags are free to anyone who promises to use them instead of paper or plastic.
