MicroView: Steel Magnolias Albania-Style

STORY AND PHOTO BY C. VANO

Empty inside, roofless, with charred stone walls marking a former existence.

Silent, somber, haunting, poetic testimony to tragedy.

What exactly had happened here?

Suddenly it all mattered.
